Mary Nichols Patton started her design career in New York, working in fashion for Calvin Klein Collection and Theory. In 2007 she moved home to Houston, and launched the Mary Nichols Handbag collection. After seven successful years in the accessory world, and ready for a change, Mary began doing small interior design projects. This led to a career shift from fashion to interior design in 2014. Mary’s work has been featured in national publications such as People Magazine, InStyle, and Brides. Mary holds degrees from Southern Methodist University and Parsons School of Design.
Mary Patton Design specializes in residential and commercial projects, home and event styling. Mary brings a fresh approach to elegant, eclectic interiors- mixing modern with vintage; high art with personal treasures- to create moments of unexpected beauty. Mary believes that interior design should be accessible, and an enjoyable experience for clients.
Linda Mena is the Operations Manager and has been great while dealing with project managing and making life a little easier for those around her. Linda graduated Cum Laude from The University of Houston with a degree in communications and a minor in psychology. Working in interior design + decorating has merged Linda’s creative side with her logical and analytical side, allowing for space to create. When she’s not working at Mary Patton Design, you’ll most likely catch her at a local sports game with the Astro’s holding the number one spot in her heart.
