Known for her joyful, approachable style, Mary Patton creates elegant, layered interiors that feel as sophisticated as they are deeply personal. Working across residential and commercial design, as well as home and event styling, Mary has built a reputation for artfully blending modern pieces with vintage finds, fine art with cherished heirlooms, and unexpected details that give every space a distinctive point of view.

Before founding Mary Patton Design, Mary began her career in fashion, working with iconic brands including Calvin Klein and Theory before launching her own bespoke handbag collection. That fashion background continues to shape her eye for color, pattern, proportion, and the art of layering a room.

Mary holds degrees from Southern Methodist University and Parsons School of Design and is a member of the Design Leadership Network. She is also the recipient of a Good Brick Award, honoring her commitment to thoughtful design and historic preservation.

Beyond her design practice, Mary is deeply engaged in the Houston community, serving on the advisory boards of Dress for Success Houston, the Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University, and Hermann Park.

Her work has been featured in leading national and regional publications, including Vogue, Architectural Digest, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, House Beautiful, HGTV Magazine, Martha Stewart Living, and Luxe, and Modern Luxury Interiors, among others.
